How to use the Project Resource Center

Frequently asked questions

Questions about User ID's and passwords

Are User ID's and passwords case-sensitive?
Yes. If your User ID or password has upper, lower, or mixed-case letters, it must be typed in the same way to be valid. Mixed case is sometimes used in passwords because combining upper and lower-case letters makes the passwords harder to guess and therefore more secure.

What if I forget my User ID or password?
If you cannot remember either your User ID or password, contact your project administrator or the individual who originally gave you the User ID / password pair.

I entered my User ID and password, but I keep being asked to enter them again. Why?
If you are certain that you are using the correct User ID and password, check to make sure the caps lock key is not on. Both the User ID and password are case-sensitive. If you still are not granted access, contact your project administrator or the individual who originally gave you the User ID / password pair.

When do I have to re-enter my password?
You only have to type in your User ID and password the first time after opening your web browser to access the PRC. Once you quit the browser or shut down your computer, you will have to re-enter the password the next time you access the PRC. NOTE: Some browsers such as Microsoft Internet Explorer allow you to automatically save your User ID and password so you never have to re-enter them. It isn't recommended that you use this feature, as it means that any person with physical access to your computer could access the Project Resource Center using your password.
